"JVC's first 3D projector produces a good 3D performance and an exceptional 2D one." What Hi-Fi Sound & Vision magazine.

Having already created something of a stir within the press and at home entertainment shows, the JVC DLA-X3 has certainly been the most eagerly awaited projector that we've ever stocked; and for very good reason! Of course, the most exciting feature is the JVC's 3D compatibility. Using the supplied 3D glasses (2 pairs) and 3D emitter, the DLA-X3 deploys a frame sequential method to transmit awesome 3D images. With a maximum projection screen size of 200 inches, it makes your home feel like a true cinema with captivating depth and "reach out and touch" projection of images.

Yet, even without the option of 3D, this is still a class-leading projector. For a long time now, JVC have been praised for their D-ILA projection system, and that's exactly what the DLA-X3 uses. Using no fewer than three 0.7" Full HD D-ILA devices, the DLAX3 offers a stunning combination of clarity and scale, image brightness and depth. Improvements to the "optical engine" have also led to an enhanced contrast ratio of 50,000:1 - an improvement of over 50%. Yet another big improvement comes from the brightness figure which has improved by nearly a third to a stunning figure of 1300 ANSI. You'll also discover blacks that are deeper than ever. To back up the clearer, brighter image, improvements have been made to JVC's Clear Motion Drive, meaning more stable images with less blur.

In terms of design, JVC have moved the lens to the centre and re-designed the rear connection sockets for more flexible positioning and mounting options. As you'd expect from a 3D capable projector, both the HDMI sockets are the latest version and are fully compatible with the format. You'll also find component and RS232C connections for full system compatibility. As with its predecessors, you can place the DLA-X3 just 3.01m from the screen and project a plasma humbling image of between 60 - 200 inches.

For an unrivalled viewing experience, the JVC DLA-X3 takes projectors to a whole new dimension!
